Thank you for your honesty in sharing,Susan. This is a topic that is frequently asked about on here. I'm glad you have admitted your problem, reached out and gotten the help you need. I'll  be praying for God to give you the strength to take it one day and one choice at a time. We are here cheering you on too! You've come through so much and you've got this too!

Thank you so  much for sharing. I totally get where you are because I am addicted to sugar. I wish there was a program for that. I too don't want to feel. Thank goodness I have the husband I do because he hides all of it from me.

You are totally in my thoughts and keep up the good work because that is just what it is.

I think it is extraordinarily brave of you to post your story here. Make no mistake, EVERYONE has some kind of an addiction. The obvious #1 for most of us here is food. I know it's mine. Your words make me realize I will need to be very careful with alcohol if I touch it again in the future though.

God bless you as you continue through the recovery process and thank you for sharing your personal experiences.

I will say I did have a drinking problem before surgery. I could polish of a half gallon of whiskey in a weekend. And go out and drink on top of it.
