What's on your Saturday menu, RNYers?

Good morning from the West! Sounds like you're going to have a great day today, JB.  Typical Saturday here for me, I'm going to get a manicure and get waxed.  Then, I have to meet a local farmer and pick up some fresh eggs, I'm sort of an egg snob.  I used to always have my own hens growing up, but right now I'm living in a condo so it's not feasible.

QOTD: No doubt, a beach trip is my go to when I need to relax.  I was born and raised in Southern California, so a beach was always in vicinity.  It's a bit of a trek now, but not too bad.

B: We're going to Black Bear, I think I want steak and eggs

L: maybe half a protein shake

D: Whatever is leftover from breakfast, unless boyfriend eats my doggy bag. I'm making him pulled pork today.

Everyone have a great day and be safe out there!

Hi JB and weekend gang,.

JB I almost fainted when I read "Grim and I are splitting up..." then read "for the day" I already had tears in my eyes.  Serves me right for reading too fast and not paying attention! LOL

Your day in DC sounds wonderful spending time with the girls and mani/pedi/spa day, how awesome!!

QOTD: my relaxation go to: sleep in, two or three cups of coffee in my PJs and then a nice easy breakfast then hiking with the dogs or gardening. I love gardening, I can lose myself just puttering around, pulling weeds, pruning flowers.  And going to a garden centre is heaven for me.  When I am off I love taking the time to do my hair and make up and get dressed up and go out for dinner.  During the week for work I am a shower and go kind of girl and don't do my hair or makeup, so its a nice treat.  But anytime I am with my hubby and doggies chillin is a good relax day for me

Well just packing up the truck now and heading out for the long drive back to Canada, should be home sometime Sunday morning.  Will post some final pics tomorrow.

There is no "menu" its all on the road, so playing it by ear.  So far I have had two cups of coffee and a yogurt.

Here are two last pics of me from the Manatee park we went to yesterday, didn't see any Manatee's but it was nice and full of nature and birds and stuff and that's totally my "thing" so it was great.  There are lots of these little lizard's running around which someone told me are called "Skenks", this one was sunning himself on the palm tree, pretty cool.

Until tomorrow my peeps, have an awesome Saturday!!

Haha, dont worry, Daze. Just for the day... ;)

I wish I liked gardening, but I never have. Maybe because it was a forced childhood chore. But my condo is planning on putting in community garden plots and I was thinking that it would be good exercise, so I might sign up.

Hoping you have a GREAT and uneventful trip back to Canada. I don't know how you do those drives--my ass fell asleep around hour 5 and it stopped being fun, then!

Morning! Sounds like you've got a full day ahead.

I'm at WW with hubby. Have been to the gym. Agenda today is kid's activities and to return some clothes I've been debating keeping. Grocery shopping and some work I brought home too. I'm also buying a new band  for my Apple Watch, its my one year treat for myself.

Qotd: to get away from it all I'll send the kids somewhere with my husband, I can't take a zillion questions when I want to fly solo. I'm a rather chill person day to day and can't think of one thing I need to do to relax. I get too anxious during mani/pedi cause I worry if I'll be happy with the outcome. Just being alone is enough for me.

Time since surgey: 1 year

m1: protein shake

m2: stew peas; cabbage, plantains (leftovers), maybe a part of a pork chop is there's room

m3: ????

Good day all! The sun has finally decided to shine here...at least for today.

Sounds like your having a wonderful time,  JB!

QOTD: I love to do DIY projects to relax. Nothing like ripping something apart with my tools to release some stress! Love my tools! I actually owned more tools when I met my husband than he did, lol. He wanted to know if that was my dowr, lol. I love to go to auctions and rummage sales to relax.

7th day of liquid diet!

B: Yougurt with protein powder and V8 juice.

L: protein shake and some chicken broth

D: ditto the lunch theme

S: SF Popsicles and more broth

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

Splitting up? Are we seeing other people?

You get mani-pedis to relax. Apparently I get to mix 1200 pounds of concrete. But, I got to do all my relaxing between 5:30 and 7:30 this morning.

Just wanted to check in with my online RNY friends. Sorry for my absence, this new job has wiped me out. Along with having problems with my blood sugars. I might have to ***** my fingers several times a day along with taking metformin.

Wanted to say high and play catch up.

This offering of food **** at work is becoming unbearable. Granted I work in a drs office and have explained but it is a learning experience.

All I have wanted to do is sleep. These headaches that I have been having could be long standing issues with blood glucose.

I just want to say to any newbies that I am not the NORM here. Most on here have had great success and I pray that you follow their guidance and do not use my complications as a deciding factor in your lives.

I am FEELING DOWN RIGHT SAD AND LONELY!!! I would text A/V but do not want to scare here lol.
