Does Syracuse do the 'garbage plate' like Rochester does? When my son went to college in Rochester he and his friends loved it. Of course when you are a 20ish male you can eat anything.

There are some pale imitators around here, but it's nothing like the real thing. I went to Nick Tahou's in Rochester exactly once back in my college days for the Garbage Plate experience. I was at my friend's house for the weekend and he kept talking about it like I was going to see God or something. LOL It was totally worth it but I will (could) never do it again.
Yup! That is the place. I would not eat it, bu****ched in amazement...

Oh Cynthia, I could use an art teacher this weekend. Dd has to make an Eiffel Tower for her honors french class. You know I'm going to get sucked into this. We are making it out of popsicle sticks, toothpicks and styrofoam for the base (found it on pinterest, but have to adjust the size since it cannot be more than 3 ft high). We are not good at crafty things! She can draw beautifully though.
Also, if you are looking for art projects check out my friend Sheryl's studio. She is an artist out of Jackson Michigan and also teaches classes for children and adults. I wish I lived near her.
