Happy Friday everyone! I am so glad that it is finally here. No big plans for the weekend, which is just fine with me. I will be gathering with friends for dinner at some point, but we have not finalized plans. The weather is rainy today, but takes a turn tomorrow into sunny and warm. In the 80's by Sunday, and I cannot wait! I finally feel comfortable that any frost is behind us, so I will be planting tomatoes in my raised beds this weekend. I already have herbs, lettuce, carrots and beets in. Oh, and I put in a raspberry plant for yard snacks. Those never make it in the house. I just pick and eat while puttering around in the yard. That is, if I can keep the squirrels off of them, the little *******s.
QOTD: Burgers, hands down. I am not, nor have I ever been, a hot dog person. We have a place in Portland called "Killer Burger" and it is amazing! I've only been there once since surgery. I got a girly burger (a smaller version of their regular burgers), but it was still too big, even eating it without the bun. Next time I might try the kid's burger.
A couple of pictures today. The first is a selfie I took this morning. The second is from the Paul McCartney concert a couple of weeks ago, just 'cause. The third is a pic with my besties in Hawaii. I felt in the need of a beach pic today to remind me that warmer weather is coming soon (Summer Is Coming).

You look amazing!
Also, a few years ago we visited my brother in Seattle. We drove down for a night in Portland and got to check out the city. I love Portland. Anyway, we just HAD to find a food truck called Big Ass Sandwiches that a friend of our recommended, this was pre-op of course. My son and my husband got a sandwich called the Pork Hammer. Deliciousness! I don't know if you've ever eaten one, and I don't know what you could actually get in since the sandwiches are "Big Ass", but they were delicious!
Thanks Deanna. I have not been to Big Ass Sandwiches, but find it frightening that "big ass" is actually in the name. Truth in advertising? So many great restaurant and food truck options here in Portland. I actually keep a list of restaurants I want to visit in my phone, because I tend to go blank when someone suggests going out and fall back on my old favorites.
