What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

I'm in the minority but I really dislike the Quest bars. They have a metallic aftertaste that is just gross.

Sunny day here in Illinois. First item of the day is food pantry here shortly. Going up with hubby who then has to take his car to get a new catalytic converter put in. We have to pay $450 of the bill and Chevrolet is paying the rest because it is all because of the jacked up motor that leaked oil until they replaced it. Luckily they are paying some because the part alone is $1300 without labor. I will walk home about 1.2 miles when the pantry closes then eat lunch and go to the park for another 3.2 miles with Lily. Will also do 30 minutes on the bike at some point too. Post op almost 44 months and weight at 123 (yes constipated again!) Here's the eats B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1/2 c shrimp salad 1/2 c green beans D 31/2 oz strip steak 1/2 c green beans S protein bar. Don't really have a least favorite word but my biggest pet peeve is misspelling, especially on signs for businesses. If you want to show us your specials for the day, please at least have them spelled correctly! Have a great day everyone and make some wise choices!
QOTD: I dislike buzz words in an office: 'effort', "perspective", 'bandwidth'. Basically anything that is said on repetition.
I ended up getting about an inch and 1/2 cut off my hair at the teaching salon, along with face wax and eyelash tinting for $20! Was quite exciting as my lashes are usually clear due to their light color.
Went grocery shopping after since I have to make food for Sat and got an entire chicken to cook for $3.50, ground turkey for $2.50, and a ham for $6! I mush have come at the perfect time!
They are calling for thunderstorms on Sunday (5k day) so I'm not happy about that. Maybe I will go run in the rain and win awards with my slow ass because everyone didn't come.
Liquids again- last day! I did have 2 egg whites with cottage cheese for dinner but couldn't eat it all. And I didn't get ill after- yay
OMG, office speak makes me want to take a hostage. "Kristen, can you reach out to so and so?". "Let's circle back on this next week".
Office Speak... *sigh*
"We are creating a culture change" - No, you are changing a stale policy that zero employees actually read, follow, or care about which will impact our patients in exactly zero ways
"Be proactive about..." - proactive? Instead of just "active." Yes, you know active but with more pro... I am not sure I am ready to be active on a PROfessional level but since you are paying me money and I have these degrees on my walls I guess I will give it a try.
"Think outside of the box on this one" - Yeah, because I usually think whilst inside of a very large box I keep in my office. Thank you for reminding me to try leaving my box shelter and venturing out into the big bad world of thinking "for real real." What would I do without you?
