What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Love your QOTD! So, I'm Norwegian on my Mom's side and my husband used to jokingly call me the Angry Viking when I got mad. It was cute at the time (and I'm sure will be again), but right now it's kind of insulting. LOL This too shall pass.
Maybe he's having hormone swings or something...LOL, That time of the month? Just tell him to knock it off...He doesn't probably even realize he is in complaining mode.
Missed everyone yesterday, I was doing my final round about before surgery to DC to see the awesome Dr. Michaels... Surgery is Monday. Eek!! Left my house Monday 6:30PM and got home Tuesday 4:30PM. It was a travel miracle though because I managed to go both ways in 5-5 1/2 hours each!! Woop! Woop!
I was exhausted yesterday driving as I only slept 5 hours in the hotel, the bed was too hard...I do find on road trips the snacking increases when you are tired. My snacks did me well though and down a pound this AM. Beef Jerky, trail mix(homemade), Premier, Kay's naturals... I think my go to now is chewing gum and eating tic tacs. There is something to having snacks/chewing that keeps you going on a road trip, but the gum doesn't do so much damage.....
B: Tea, protein shake. (To be determined :)
L: black bean soup with added protein powder
S: 1/4 Piece of matzo with laughing cow cheese
D: ????
EX: 22 minute Hard Corp, resistance day
Edit: QOTD: My original aol email back in the day...they suggested a number after it because mine was already taken. Rather than a random number, I bumped up to an easy one... also the '2' is on the same key as the '@' so really lazy. The rest is obvious. So '222' now goes on most things...

Good morning, AV and my fellow RNYers! I agree with you guys, this week has sucked. Ugh, we had a potluck at my work yesterday, and they set everything up in the office across from mine. It was so hard to be strong, but I was. I probably ate too many of my approved snacks, cause every time someone walked by with a plate loaded with macaroni and cheese, enchiladas, rice, cheesecake, etc.... I wanted a bite of something. But all things considered, I didn't do too horribly. On a brighter note, my 3 week stall is definitely over, the scale is moving in the right direction again and tells me I'm 5 pounds lighter, so that's a huge relief. I'm not sure what yesterday is going to do, but everything I ate was protein shake or meat itself.
I'm doing iMetabolic protein shakes all day, so no "exciting" menu for me.

So happy your stall is over!

First congrats on the victory of holding strong! Mac and cheese, enchiladas and cheesecake??? Girl you deserve a medal.
Sticking to protein snacks even if there was a little extra? Awesome under the cir****tances...
Breaking stall?
Now question, why protein shakes all day?
