Your dinner sounds yummy! I've never thought of shrimp salad. I think that may be dinner tomorrow. It's gotten hot here and hubby likes cold things to eat when the weather is hot. I evenison have some salad shrimp in the freezer. Thanks for the new idea! That's why I love this thread!

Hope your back feels better Deanna!  Take care of that!  Nothing worse than back pain!  I love the whole ice for 15 mins, then heat for 15 mins, then ice then heat, and of course if I really need it will use the over the counter creams to help get me by.

Dinner sounds yummy and your evening snack even better. OMG I love cantaloupe, its kind of a slippery slope food for me, I have to really limit it or else I could go wild. I sprinkle cinnamon on mine, weird I know but its kinda a sweet & savory thing.

I love cantaloupe as well, and this is the first time I'm having it since surgery.  It's surprisingly lower in calories than I expected, so I'm hoping i'll be able to control myself.  I sliced the whole thing and it's in my fridge at home.  fingers crossed, lol

Good Morning! Hope your day gets better Kristen! I have another day full of meetings and projects, I am still adjusting to the additional tasks and people I have now reporting to me and the SO MANY emails I get everyday! I like the new opportunities and that I have had the ability to kind of create this new role-now it's just showing the value and that it works.

QOTD: At this moment I would put it towards new running shoes. I just talking about it over the weekend that pretty soon I will have put enough mileage on my current pair and that we need to budget the cost in somewhere.

Time since surgery: 20 months

B: SF latte, egg beaters with shredded cheese, slice of bacon

L: Apple and Gouda chicken sausage, carrots and a string cheese

S: SF latte, Salted caramel Greek yogurt, a boiled egg and beef jerky

D: Grilled chicken salad and ½ an apple (at the hospital cafeteria where my monthly support group meets)

E: 6 miles and elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1049 Protein:118 Carbs:67 Fat:32

Have a great one!

Ohhhh, running shoes is a good answer!  I think mine have 1 more 1/2 marathon in them and then they will need to be replaced.
