QOTD: Well I would squirrel it away for my tattoo fund! My best friend and I are getting BFF matchy matchy tattoos and I need to start saving. They shouldnt be all that expensive, but you know, having 4 kids and 2 in full time daycare makes it for very little "play money"

Not sure if its something you want to share but would love to see a pic of your tattoo when its done. Hubby and I want to get tattoo's done we just have to pick a time and place, we have the designs already picked out, its just a matter of getting off our butts and doing it!
Another beautiful day in Illinois but rain is supposed to be heading this way later today. QOTD I would buy new sneakers as the pair I am currently wearing have a large hole forming but we are fixed income and the money is not in the budget right now for shoes. Post op about 44 months and weight at 120.8 today. Lily and I will head to the park for our 3.2 miles in a minute and I'll ride the bike for 30 minutes at some point. Plans for today include housework (way too much fun!). Here's the eats B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1/2 c tuna salad 1/2 c tomatoes D 31/2 oz ground turkey meatballs 1/2 c green beans S tired of yogurt so trying something new Muscle tech Mission 1 clean protein bars. Stats seem pretty good: no sugar alcohols,20 gr fiber,1gr sugar,20 gr protein and 190 calories. We shall see! Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices!
Oh, do report back on the new protein bars! I like the "no sugar alcohols" part of it.
Sugar alcohols make me sicker than anything else in the world.

Yes that was what attracted me to them at Walmart. It was kind of funny--hubby and I standing in Walmart perusing the protein bar labels. I'm tired of the slider quality of the yogurt and would like something that I can chew instead. The key is finding one that doesn't become a trigger food. It needs to be edible but not so good I would want too many?! I know,I'm broken for sure!
Hi there everyone!
QOTD: I think I'd come home and give half of the $100 to my daughter just to surprise her and then take the other $50 and go buy some spring flowering plants to hang up on my patio.
Menu: egg, Protein shake, string cheese sticks, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, chicken breast.
Exercise: Taking the dogs for a walk. Yesterday we had an eventful walk when a Doberman slipped out of his collar and rushed at Tippy and Blossom. I quickly picked up Tippy (who thought she was going to ATTACK the Doberman, silly Chihuahua) and the Doberman took off after timid Blossom. Blossom ran 3 or 4 houses down and hid in someone's open garage. The owner caught up with the Doberman and put it back on it's leash and all was okay, but it scared us all to death! So I don't know if poor Blossom is going to want to go for a walk today or not.
Have a super day, everyone!
~ Karen :)
Poor Blossom! I'm glad everything turned out OK, and I'm not at all surprised that Tippy thought she was going to throw down. LMAO
