Is skin removal covered under any insurance companies?  Or do we have to pay for it out of pocket?

Sometimes insurance will pay. You need documentation that it is causing rashes and skin infections.  Take pictures and save proof of doctor visits and prescriptions.

Every insurance plan is different. Call the customer service number on the back of your card and ask.

I just paid out of pocket, yet at support group the other night I was talking to a man going in for a tummy tuck, and his was being covered almost 100 percent, he had 2 insurances, so what one wasn't covering, the other was.

So very depensent on your insurance.
