What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning, all! I was MIA yesterday as I decided to take a mental health day and drive to Scranton and watch my friend's daughter sing the National Anthem at the Railriders game. Good times! We have been corresponding online for like 13 years and had never met in person until yesterday. My son and her daughter were born 6 days apart and to say they were immediate best buddies is an understatement. He talked my ear off about her the whole ride home last night. He was so excited for school this morning so he could tell all of his friends about his "date".
QOTD! Let's talk desert island choices. You get one food item, one book and one movie. ONE. OF. EACH. I'm going to go with peanut butter (mmmm....PB), Stephen King's The Stand and West Side Story. My movie choice was a toss up between my most beloved musical and Jaws. Which I also love, but this being a desert island scenario and all...it seemed kind of wrong. LMAO
Time since surgery: 21 months
B: Diet Pepsi (shut up), Friendship Fit to Go cottage cheese with some applesauce mixed in and 2 light rye wasa crisps. I'm trying something new with my food. I'm having a more substantial breakfast, hopefully eliminating the mid-morning snack, and having lunch earlier. I am the most hungry earlier in the day, so I'm going to try and listen to my body's hunger signals and see how that goes.
S: See above. LOL
L: lemon pepper tuna pouch with a HB egg and a cheese stick
D: Honest to God, I have no idea. Here's where we get to have a moment of silence for my chest freezer that **** the bed over the weekend, taking 30 lbs. of various venison cuts with it. All that glorious high protein meat. Gone. You guys, I'm so sad.
TOTALS: Who cares. My venison...sobs
Have a great Tuesday!
Good morning AV. It sounds like you had a great day yesterday, but, alas, not as great as mine.
QOTD. Option 1: chocolate for food, Patrick O'Brian's Master and Commander for a book, and Being There for a movie. Option 2: ribeye, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, and The Searchers. Decisions, decisions.
