Yay! warm weather finally. I'm so happy. Did my 4 month weigh in and measurements yesterday and I am pleased. Gearing up for my Gallbladder removal on the 29th. Hopefully that's the last of the internal surgeries.

QOTD: I want to take one of the river Cruises in Europe. Somehow I can justify that if tat starts sinking I can manage to swim to shore.

Time Since Surgery: 4 Months

B: Double Scoop Unjury Shake

S: Virginia Ham

L: Virginia Ham

S: Unjury Shake

D: ??? I suspect Chinese as my family is going to invade our house tonight.

Totals: Up in the air, but should be good on protein and things if I stick to my normal go to at the Chinese place.

Going to try and resume exercise after a couple of rough weeks in the house with illnesses and no sleep.

I have no clue why they just do not remove that stupid gall bladder when they do bariatric surgery.....

I agree! I suspect it is because then they couldn't bill for it, right?

I asked my doc, insurance will not cover it until it is a "medical necessity".  You can pay out of pocket for it, though.

Most doctors won't remove a healthy organ, even if there is a higher risk that it could fail in the future. The exception is a healthy breast in someone with breast cancer or is high genetic risk for breast cancer.

I asked him, he said it's just another complication they don't want to risk if you are not showing any symptoms. Which makes a little sense and I'm kind of glad not sure I needed an more issues with my surgery. Hoping this one goes smoothly.

Good Morning! Try and remember Chassibi that this is only temporary-you got this!

My weekend was awesome. We made a last minute decision to drive to spend the day at the beach on Saturday. Did lots of walking and enjoyed the salty air and I was able to get work off my brain (well for the most part) for the day. Supposed to be about 90 degrees here today...then luckily cooling a bit for this coming weekend-I am not ready for the constant heat yet.

Time since surgery: 20 months
