Shopping
last night my sister told me she thinks I've developed a shopping addiction. I completely disagree, I actually think I've been pretty savvy.
My shopping rule throughout this loosing phase has been spend no more than $20 on a single item. I've shopped at thrift stores a lot (which she also disapproves of btw), and mix and match pieces to maximize use of every single piece of clothing. I've never had anything that I've worn only once, I get many uses out of everything. I still wear my 3x Tshirts cause they are good 'around the house' tee's. i have a few new things still in bags debating if it's worth the purchase, I like to see if I can get by without them and return them.
I splurged on a spring jacket, paying $100-- considering I paid $22 for both my fall and winter coats combined, I don't feel the least but guilty. (And I feel fabulous in it!!)
what I probably do have a problem with is buying workout clothes, I seriously do not need another piece!
So my sister can go suck an egg!

Wow... Why do you think your sister would think that ? Do you have too many cltjes and no space?
I know this is my problem. I don't spend a lot of money on clothing..but over the years I bought too many all together.. And I have a hard time giving away those I rarely wear ...or don't wear at all.. I know I need to.
But shopping addiction? Me... ... I call that thrift therapy...

Only my credit card can judge if I have a shopping addiction. Anyone else - I agree, suck an egg.

My rule of thumb is that if only 1 person is claiming you've got a problem, take a look at it with a grain of salt. Now, if a lot of people are claiming the same thing, it's time to take a very serious look. Sometimes the rest of our world sees things before we do, and sometimes it's more of a reflection of themselves than anything else. How's your sister's shopping habits?

Hey, if she's not paying the bills, why does she care? You don't even want to KNOW what I've spent this month, I got sucked into the black hole of my friends selling stuff on Facebook, Young Living Essential Oils, Rodan + Fields, etc...
As long as you're happy, and love your purchases, that's all that matters.
