NSV- 4 million steps

I just noticed I reached 4 million steps on my fitbit a few days ago (I have had it 11 months now). Yippee!! I could never have done this if I were still 339 pounds. I will admit I exercised like a fiend the first few years post-RNY, but then quit. I could still maintain my weight loss without it, so I got out of the habit. I realized last year I needed to take care of my overall health and not just my weight. I got a fitbit and became hooked on staying active. I will turn 50 in a few months and am determined to continue to put my health first. I have a lot of good living left to do!!

Great job Laura! I don't have a fitbit but do exercise by walking 4 plus miles almost every day.I know it doesn't help that much with weight loss but it makes me feel healthier and stronger. Plus I sleep better too! So it's a win for sure! Congratulations!

'They' say that exercise doesn't result in weight loss. Well in my case it is excercise that helps me maintain. I really don't know who 'they' are. Good job girl, still a baby compared to me . You look awesome. ! Keep walking
