What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?

Hello and Happy Saturday!

Today should be a fun day for me. Later this morning, I am heading into Boston for the Mass College of Art and Design's "Crafter's Carnival". There should be lots of fun creations to ooh and ahh over. I'll try to show some restraint and not buy everything! Later tonight Grim and I are going to see The Boss with Melissa McCarthy as a Girl Scout-esque Cookie Mom. I used to work for the Girl Scouts so this should be funny to me on a lot of extra levels :)

Yesterday I came home sick from work and had an unexpected afternoon on the couch. So I binge watched 4 episodes of the new season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix (that show is adorable!). QOTD: What are your favorite binge-worthy shows? I mostly watch tv through Netflix on my Roku, so binging is my preferred way to watch--I don't even know if I could handle having to wait a week between shows anymore. Give me your suggestions!

--9 months post op--

B: Fit Frappe Chai Protein (hot)

S: Almonds and Cheese Stick

L: Turkey Meatballs

D: ??? I don't feel like I scheduled time for dinner...we'll see how this plays out.

Exercise: On my way to the gym for circuit training in a few minutes. I think I am going to walk there and back, which adds 2 miles.

Morning JB. I hope you are feeling 100 percent today.

I have no idea what I'm eating today. I had a shake for breakfast, but I'm not interested in food beyond that.

QOTD: I usually only binge watch when I start a brand new show. The last thing I binge watched was Fargo. Best show on TV. The show I most look forward to seeing that's currently on is The Americans.

Lots to do, gotta run. I hope you menuers have a great day.

Morning all... Drinking my pre-workout drink... going to do my Tony Horton 22 minute Hard Corp ...then will get ready to go off to support group. I am very fortunate that there are several support groups in the community, run by WLS patients to chose from...not just the one at the hospital. I like this one in particular... It meets in the community room at a local Panera... very laid back, chat over a cup of coffee.... Some of the ladies who come are very funny older ladies successful at 8-9 yrs out.... insert heavy NY accents and motherly opinions--.... they are sweet and very funny at the same time.

B: Tea, Protein drink

L: Asian salad with thai tuna

D: Chicken, spinach

Snacks: Don't know

Exercise- 22 minute hard corp

The 2 older ladies in my group (insert strong Boston accents) are a trip, here, too. They practically pat anyone under 80 on the head like we are toddlers. It's mostly sweet, but sometimes a little patronizing...

Changed my mind about the gym when I saw what a beautiful day it is! Went for a run through the woods outside my house instead. Hope you all have such beautiful weather!
