What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
I love that car! My husband never says a word about my food, but he talks incessantly about how I need to exercise. He actually says "WE need to get in shape", but I hear "Get your ass to the gym". LOL
Isn't it crazy how your spouse can SAY one thing and you hear something completely different??
My big thing is him (or anyone really) commenting on my food. It just makes me go a little insane. One time he said "wow look at that nice big salad"...and I FLIPPED OUT. I was like "ITS JUST A SALAD...ITS HEALTHY....DRESSING ON THE SIDE...GIVE ME A BREAK!!". He was like...ummm I was just saying it looked yummy. hahaha oops

Funny on the birthday overlap! My husband and I are born the same year, and have our birthdays exactly one month apart, I am exactly one month younger than him. We got married two weeks after his birthday, two weeks before mine. So I can always say he was older than me when we got married!
I drive an '11 Chevy Tahoe. It's a beast, but with two kids in a combination of 6 sports - there is no day that I'm not hauling 4 random kids to soccer, swim team, hockey, football, softball or baseball practice. It fits the kids, the dog & all of the crap! We also have a camper and it pulls that too!

Hooray for the cars (and moms) who drive the neighborhood! Seriously, we just replaced our 15-yr-old minivan. Husband pointed out that we did not need to fit so many kids and so much stuff, and I rebutted that until the last kid moved out, I should probably expect to be hauling multiple kids around, our own or other people's. It is messy, but nice to be a parent who can invite everyone along. Oh, the things we hear when driving those kids . . .
Pfft, I was a beautiful baby and an awarkwardly beautiful kid. Can't wait for tomorrow!
QOTD: 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. I love my SVU! I bought it used, but it only had 3k miles in it.

Good thoughts for you with the family stuff. I don't know your "stuff," but I know mine, and we all need those good thoughts to buoy us up sometimes.
And, I think you probably were in truth a beautiful baby and beautiful kid. Look at you now!
