What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good Thursday morning, my friends! Friendly PSA on behalf of myself and MC Daisy: tomorrow's Photo Friday theme is Flashback Friday! We want to see you in all your hideous childhood glory; bad hair, bad clothes. The works! I hope everyone has their pictures ready. And if anyone wants to suggest a theme for May's theme day, let 'em rip. Daisy and I will discuss and crown a winna!
You guys, I'm looking for an article that I remember someone posting here on OH. It was about body image and how even when you lose weight, you still struggle because of the loose skin. Or something. Ugh, is that specific enough? Prolly not. I ask because I am and plastics is still a few years off. I kind of freaked out on my very loving and patient husband last night and he just didn't understand what I was trying to communicate when I said I was not feeling great about myself. I think I need therapy. Or vodka. Same thing.
QOTD! Let's make it easy. What do you drive? LOL I drive a POS Jeep Patriot. And even though it's a POS and has like 150K miles on it, I love that stupid car. It's a beast in the snow and is paid off, so what more could I want? I call it Shrek because a) the car's green and b) when the sun's at my back the side mirror shadows on the road look like Shrek's ears and it makes me laugh.
Time since surgery: Just under 21 months
B: coffee, HB and 2 cheese sticks. So much cheese. Who said yesterday that they were 40% cheese stick? I was legit LOLing at that because that's how I feel most days.
S: 1 oz. beef jerky
L: rotisserie chicken salad on 2 light Wasa rye crisps with a wedge of Laughing Cow
D: 4 oz. grilled chicken and a side salad with Bolthouse Farms cilantro avocado dressing. My new obsesh.

Morning AV. I'm sorry I can't help with the article. There have been a billion posts on OH about body image and excess skin, and several million links to outside articles. It's something pretty much all of us go through, not that that helps. I'd be willing to bet that your husband notices it very little, and cares even less.
QOTD: I drive a Chevy Silverado pickup. I'd love to have a smaller, more economical car, but I haul too much stuff around on a regular basis to be able to do that. I can usually watch the gas gauge spin downward as I drive.
Ribeye for lunch today. I never got around to it yesterday. I did have a very good bacon cheeseburger for dinner with JB last night though. They put the bacon UNDER the cheese, instead of the bacon on top. It really helped seal in the bacon. I've eaten a million bacon cheeseburgers, and never had it done that way. It was brilliant.
I also had a taste of coffee this morning, and enjoyed it. But I won't become a coffee drinker anytime soon.

Yeah, even as I was typing that out I was like "this is the vaguest request I've ever thrown out there". LOL
Coffee? Wow. Branching out. Bacon Cheeseburger does sound brilliant...
