What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning and Happy Wednesday!  I'm already looking forward to the weekend!

KQOTD - Great topic!  I LOVE pulling out my SAT words and I can't wait to see how everyone responds!  My favorites lately are copacetic and buffoon.

I survived my endoscopy yesterday, but unfortunately have no final answers.  My dr. came and talked to me after, but told me we should reconvene later in the week when I'm less spacy.  He did find 2 areas of acid damage on my esophagus, and took biopsies to see if it's Barrett's esophagus.  Crazily, I was hoping that he would see something that would force him to make the call between conversion to bypass or not, but he didn't.  So the ball is squarely back in my court.  I guess I'll know more on Friday (which is I think when we decided we would talk)

23 months post surgery (yesterday) and here's my plan:

B: Ground turkey, tbs of pesto and shredded cheese

L: chicken thigh meat (3.9 oz) and beans

D: Turkey breast, pear and Gorgonzola salad

S: Dannon light and fit; homemade latte with 4 oz of fairlife milk

Totals: Cal: 865; Protein: 111g; Fat: 30g; Carbs: 23g

Im glad your endoscopy went "well".  My Dad is bringing me to mine, I am kind of worried that the doctor will tell me something important that I will NOT remember....and neither will my dad! HAHA

My mom went with me, but she stayed in the lobby.  I'm sure my doctor will go over everything again, since he knew I was still spacy stacy!  Good luck on yours.  Hope it gives you some answers!

Sorry about the acid damage. I have it too (from the band) and know how miserable it is. Still hoping you get relief--in whatever form is right for you!

Thank you!  I appreciate all your support.  I think I would be going crazy if I didn't have this thread as a place to vent.

Good afternoon! Feels like spring outside - the dogs will get a longer walk today.

QOTD: current favorite words are quotidian, sfumato, and ephemera. A word I love to say out loud is megalopolis ... lots of substance there. Also enjoy some of the words already listed - loquacious, mellifluous ....

Food: steel cut oats with protein, roast pork, chicken, and hardboiled egg.

I love words and of course can't think of anything brilliant to respond with. Nefarious comes to mind and it is a word that we use often at work for some reason. Someone mentioned the word a couple of years ago and we continue to use it (so not truly underutilized). The other word I use often that always gets a reaction is "divine."  My Mom would always say that something was "delicious and divine" so it stuck with me when I refer to things I enjoyed doing.

OK more words are coming to me:  brouhaha, cacophony, discombobulate.
