What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
QOTD- skiing! I fell OFF the ski lift at the end and ran over like 5 people and made them fall over also. I also almost fell off the side of a cliff - I seriously thought I was going to die. Never again
I made poppyseed ham and cheese rolls, pecan turtles, and banana cream bites for my DH's event tonight. I made him sample everything last night since I could not taste it. It was my first time making caramel- it was interesting- I didn't burn it but it didn't come out as smooth as I would have liked it. DH said they were good- I'm going to try to eat something before this event at 6 plus I have to get there early also to put together the banana cream bites. My mom is coming also and I also need to figure out what I'm wearing.

QOTD- ride on a motorcycle. My husband loved motorbikes. He loved going on long rides, camping, doing cool roads. I went out for ice cream with him once on the back of his bike, when we were dating. We were on a highway in Dallas and i just prayed my way to safety. I wont ever do it again. I drove a Yukon even before i had my daughter- the bigger the car/more protection, the better for me. He ended up selling his bikes after we had our daughter. I never asked him to. I just took more insurance out on him.
I am having a cup of real, caffeinated coffee. Its rainy and grey here and i was a bit tired and needed a boost. I will be careful about my caffeine intake, but i couldnt do it anymore.
Daisy- my daily fatigue is significantly better- it improved with starting on dense protein. My fatigue at the end of the week or after a long day of activity is definitely still there. B/C i am no longer napping, i am sleeping well again. Hubs and daughter were away on saturday so i spend the day napping and watching netflix. Because i could. It was awesome to do nothing.
B1- latte 2/3 decaf, with 27G of protein from unflavored powder
B2- premier protein shake- b/c i am on a con call- 30 g protein
Lunch- cottage cheese and chopped egg approx 18g
snack- roast turkey and cheese roll up approx 9 g
dinner- Chicken leg- my daughter asked for chicken legs for her bday but steak prevailed. Going to do them in my pressure cooker so they will be nice and moist.
If you all dont have a pressure cooker/ instant pot. you seriously should investigate them.
Lots of water today. after i finish my coffee, that is. oh its soooo good
going to have to add a protein shake only at 48 protein

QOTD: Things I would never do again. Ugh, move away from the ocean. I relocated to Reno for my job, and I have regretted the decision so much. It's awful because I actually love my work, but Reno? It's the armpit of the universe.
Oh, and because I'm fat, I have to throw something I'll never eat again in there. I love sushi, but uni (sea ur***** is damned revolting. It tasted like eating a rotten sponge, you know that one you find in your kitchen sink that smells weird. It oozed and was so gross. Some people love it, but not me.
My menu almost never plays out the way I plan. I woke up with the dry heaves this morning, so that was lovely, it was a really emotional night for me.
B: I can't think about this yet, TBH, probably a Powerade Zero
L: I'm in work meetings all day, probably some kind of soup
D: an iMetabolic protein shake
S: Fat and sugar free vanilla Greek yogurt to get my meds down
