What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?

Hi Everyone! As usual, I post just about the time everyone else is going to bed for the night.
We were away for spring break last week, so yesterday was crazy with post-vacation laundry, grocery stock-up, and kid school re-entry, to prepare for this morning, when I had another one of my vein procedures--it will be 5-6 mos. of procedures by the time I am through. Although some of the procedures are more minor, they really take a lot out of me.
Now back home--a few hours before the orthodontist, vocal lessons, etc. Trying to take things easy for a couple of days. HAHAHA.
QOTD: Water skiing. When I was engaged, my eventual husband took me along on an extended family vacation (all his aunts ad uncles and all their children)--my chance to meet and impress! We were on two giant houseboats on Lake Powell, and water skiing was the Big Activity every day. I had never ever water skied before. I am not a swearing person, but that is absolutely my idea of HELL--to be on skis behind a boat full of people (future inlaws especially) who have nothing to do bu****CH ME for an hour or so as I try and try and try and try again to get up on those skis behind that boat. I know you think you are doing me a great kindness! But DON'T cheer me on! Don't even watch me! And then I got up for a few seconds, and then I lost control, and my arms with the wooden hold bar came down HARD against my upper thighs, and my legs were completely covered with giant purple bruises for the rest of the week, so my legs looked awful in a swim suit, and what do you wear on Lake Powell in the summer except a swimsuit--it is so darn hot--and everyone asked me about those bruises and how on earth did I get them, so I got to relive the water skiing efforts multiple times each day. Miserable. Miserable. Hell. Hell. Hell.
AV, I have only canoed a few times, and it is really unstable, IMO. But kayaking--that is my dream activity. I. JUST. LOVE. IT. Love love love. I live in Utah, and although we have many fresh-water reservoir/lakes around here, my all-time favorite place to kayak is on the Great Salt Lake. It is such a strange and isolated desert landscape--a huge inland sea, and you are all alone in the middle of it, and it is arid all around. Like you are in a Salvadore Dali painting. Stunning. The heavy salt concentration gives the water a kind of thickness, and it is like you are sailing on poured glass.
I should be posting a menu!
I have to say, some stress eating today. About 1/2 cup on Honey Nut Cheerios, and a cookie, right after returning home from my procedure. So, not admirable in the least:
B: Fage blood orange yogurt
S: Those cheerios and cookie and 1/4 oz of Gouda cheese
L: 8 jumbo shrimp with ****tail sauce
D: Husband is in charge. Probably it will be some kind of takeout soup and bread, and if so, I will have chili from the freezer
