I just use Reduced sugar Heinz Ketchup and prepared horseradish.  I like mine extra spicy. Love it when it makes my nose run.

I still remember one of the lines (or the gist of it) from a Ramona book.  The teacher asked her to "sit here for the present" and she kept waiting for the gift, not understanding that she meant for now.  I don't know why that stuck with me.

Good Morning Everyone!

QOTD:  When I was a child my mom read us "Black Beauty" (about a horse) and I absolutely loved that book.  I also loved the Childcraft books.  I also used to love paging through our encyclopedia and looking up things like "dogs" and other things that interested me.

My menu will be more Critter Food, (eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, protein shake, cheese sticks).  Those things seem to work for me.

I hope everyone has a great day!  :)

Sorry. QOTD: The first book I remember reading was Robinson Crusoe. I had been given a little child's abridged and illustrated version, and loved it so much I dragged my mother to the library for the real book. I don't remember how much I didn't understand, but I ran up some late fines on that book.

My other favorite is Wynken, Blynken and Nod. I read that to my daughter about a billion times when she was little.

But THE ABSOLUTE BEST children's book ever is This one. If you want a great day, follow the link and read the book. Best. Ever. I buy a copy and give it to every expectant parent I know.

OMG, Grim!  What a funny book!  I loved it!  And of course, we can't forget the classic, "Everyone Poops".

But everyone doesn't poop. Not after surgery.

When I run at the beach, we run along the boardwalk in Venice.  There's a T-Shirt stand along the way and they have a t-shirt that says "I Pooped Today"  I always want to stop and buy it, but have no way to carry it back with me. . . I may have to make a special trip, since that shirt has MEANING!!
