Pain in Stomach
I had the RNY in 2006. I made the mistake yesterday of taking a prescription steroid pill for "minor" pain. I only took 3 by the time I had a HORRIBLE pain in my stomach. I had to go to the ER and they had me get a CT scan. The scan thankfully didn't show any issues and my pain is not as painful as it was. But it is still there on the right side of my stomach. I do not take the steroids now. Has anyone had severe stomach pains this far after having RNY surgery? It feels like I've been doing some really strenuous exercises but I haven't. I'm wondering if it will go away and what I can do to ease the pain. We are going on vacation tomorrow. :(
All I know is that years ago, I had to take prednisone and it upset my stomach very much (before WLS). and I was in a lot of pain So, I know that it can be a side effect of that medication. I hope you're feeling better soon!!
