I've had orthostatic hypotension since surgery. At first it hit me every time I stood up, but gradually has subsided to just a few times per week.

What liquids are you drinking? Do they have you on anything like propel? I was suppoed to have at least one of those a day to help with electrolytes. What about trying sugar free pudding mixed with a little protein powder? Or mixing some into yogurt, just to change the taste?  It might be too sweet but is something else to consider if it's allowed in your plan. Mine had me on clear liquids until I felt hunger, then I could advance to yogurt and some soft foods. I didn't feel any hunger until 10 days post op and I think my first grand meal then was some plain Greek yogurt with a little protein powder...I may have managed to eat 2 oz of it :)

So you don't like the idea of the allowed foods? Have you actually tried them despite the feeling? I'm not currently a huge fan of eggs--a whole different set of food adversions due to pregnancy--but this morning I cooked and ate a scrambled egg because it was the best nutritional option I had available. If I don't think about it too deeply or look at it much I'm able to eat it despite being kind of squicked out.
