I need my energy for other things,. And I am pretty sure I'll miss the game, but not in the least bit sad about it.

How about this: if the Blue Jays lose tonight, you post a picture of you in a doggie outfit in next week's menu thread. A CURRENT picture.

Good morning from rainy Los Angeles.  Kristen, I know this weekend is going to be rough, but keep in mine that you have us all virtually supporting you . . . hopefully that will make it easier.  Also, I totally get your emotions regarding seeing your friends for the first time since surgery.  You should be excited!  Don't let the solemnity of the event take away from your excitement, you worked hard and have achieved so much!  Hoping that the weekend isn't horribly difficult, but know that we've got your back 

My plan today isn't so much a plan but rather an attempt to get enough food in to carry me through tomorrow's run.  I'd like to say that I don't change my eating before a race, but I do (with my team's blessing).  So, today will definitely be higher in calories and carbs than normal.

B: Overnight oats with peanut butter

L: Tri Tip and edamame

D: unknown at this point, but probably chicken and potato

S: Skinny vanilla latte, kind bar (or 2), Light and fit

Totals: Cal without dinner: 835; Protein: 76g; Fat: 35g; Carbs: 68g

Good luck with the run this weekend Stacy!  I will be thinking about you!  I hope you can show us a picture of how awesome you will look!  Upping our calories and your carbs make total sense before a big race, you got this girl!
