What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
The premixed isopure taste like ass. And not the good kind of ass.
Syntrax Nectar makes a powder that mixes in water. It looks, when mixed, exactly like the Isopure. Except the ones I tried are delicious. I've had the Roadside Lemonade and Fruit Punch. Great protein, low calories because of the water. Just as clear as Isopure. They have other flavors, including, I think, coffee and tea.

I don't have a lot of issues with blisters (knock on wood). I have sprayed my feet with Tri Slide before a super wet muddy run last year in Michigan and I was blister free. I also prefer thin dri wicking socks which I think helps in the rain. Yes, go forth and purchase a Headsweats hat (I must have at least 5, they are my FAV).

Ensure makes a clear protein drink now that is moderately better than isopure. I can tolerate the peach or pomegranate here and there.

Angry Viking, I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Again, I would lose my mind if I lost any of my college tribe.
I would vote for the black nylons. It's a funeral, you're in mourning... but I don't think it would be a huge faux pas to wear nude, either. I may be wrong though, years of being overweight has always made me choose black when it comes to any kind of clothing. My closet looks like me and Mrs. Darth Vadar got our luggage mixed up at the airport.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, I've been everything from a beer koozie to Medusa.
B: Chicken Soup
S: Light and Fit Fat Free Vanilla Yogurt
L: More soup
D: either an iMetabolic protein shake or more chicken soup (I'm on a kick right now)
