Good Morning, I have been thinking about you and the hurt you feeling. I can understand feeling drained today, hope you have a better day.

Good question on the hose, I probably would go with nude but I have zero clue what you're "supposed" to do.

QOTD: I dressed as Bugs Bunny in 5th grade, man that costume was HOT (handmade costume by my mom that was almost "mascot" like)-it was fun though.

S: SF latte, Boston cream pie Greek yogurt, a boiled egg and beef jerky

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1055 Protein:134 Carbs:76 Fat:19

AV- continued prayers for your friend's family.

Hose- i must be the only person on earth that loves hose. I think they just make my legs look nice, instead of splotchy.  Nude for the day, black for the night would be my suggestion. BUT i think for funerals, anything goes, truly. Black hose would not be out of place at a funeral.

B- premier protein

S-?

L- cottage cheese , chopped egg (at the office today)

S- ham and cheese roll up maybe?- have to see if they will make me one.

D- TBD

I am frustrated. Probably b/c i compare myself so much.  I seem to be able to eat any texture. (yes, i tried) drink easily.  The Surgeon said my stomach was the size of a plum. I think he is lying.

I have tried to accept feeling satisfied vs. full. - this is learning and will continue to work on this

I am scared that i will do something to hurt my pouch and i will be the one person in the world that RNY  doesnt work for.

He was happy with 15lbs , i should be, knowing that i started at a lower BMI than others.

i know its a negative thought pattern but hey, i am a work in progress. if i was perfect i wouldnt have had an eating prob in the first place.

just airing my thoughts. no biggie.

You are doing GREAT!  It is very hard not to compare yourself to others, but really, everyone's journey is SOOOO different!!

I didn't get a "full" feeling until about 3 months post op when everything had healed properly.  Once you get to that point in healing you will know when you need to stop!

i need to be careful what i wish for.

there was a fish soup in the cafe. I picked out some flaky white pieces. had 2, and totally "full" maybe an ounce tops probably more like 1/2 ounce. chewed them well, but then my belly said nope. no more.

i have to say. i am kinda glad. i dont want to feel full but i had less than my portion.

So sorry for your loss. I would wear black, because a hate nude, but for the most part these days I don't wear any.

It is gross and pouring down rain here today. Ugh, come on summer I know you can do it, just kick winter in ass and move it out of the way.

My favorite costume was probably a magic eight ball. I wore all black and had the sayings in Velcro so I could attach them to my chest to answer questions. It was funny.

Time since surgery:  3.5 Months

B:  Double Scoop unjury shake

S:  egg with cheese and a little cantaloupe

L:  Going on lunch date with husband, Greek Chicken Kabob and a smidge of warm potato salad, literally a bite is what I'm allowing.

D:  Family is having Fish Sticks, so I may make some tuna, and depending on how the potato salad goes maybe a few wheat thins to scoop

TOTALS:  Cals:  719  Protein:  94  Carbs:  35  Fat:  22

Can I tell you all how excited I am tomorrow is Friday? This week has been filled with long hours and stress and I'm so proud of myself for sticking to my plan for the most part there may have been two sweet tarts consumed last night but, considering what I would have eaten in the past during a week like this one, I did unbelievably amazing.

I am so sorry for your loss AV. It is very hard to lose someone at such a young age. Even if someone is older it is still hard.

I am not one to wear stockings I usually go without unless I am going to a function that I have to cover my tattoos on my feet and ankles. I will wear black.
