Kale Chips?
Has anyone eaten Kale Chips and if so, how far post op were you? Were they too dry to go down well? I'm looking for a vessel for my hummus. Thanks!

I like kale chips (or at least I liked them pre-surgery), but I'm not sure I'm ready to try them again. I am happy eating hummus with a spoon, but have also used broccoli and cauliflower and lightly steamed and chilled carrots. Now that I think about it, cabbage leaves or endive leaves might make a good scoop.

I can't stand kale chips. To eat hummus I would use cucumber "coins" or bell pepper strips. But noticed you are only about 3 weeks post op so not sure you are cleared for veggies yet? If you do go the veggie route test it out at home, in case it does not agree with you and chew chew chew, that is of course if your centre has cleared you for eating veggies already. And of course there is always a spoon LOL

I like the idea of cucumber coins. And no I'm not cleared for raw veggies until 8 weeks, but I like to plan ahead rather than just getting there and wondering what to eat. Thanks for the help!
