Meal plans. Do you eat on a schedule?
My plan was a lot different. I'm NOT saying don't follow yours :) just want to give you a different perspective. Mine called for eating when hungry and stopping when satisfied, not full. The idea was to train me to learn my body's actual hunger signals, not to believe I had to eat a certain amount. It did have the caveat that they didn't encourage more than three meals a day and maybe one snack once we were on solid food, I.e. not encouraging grazing.
This worked really well for me; the majority of my cravings were from diabetes, which was put into remission by the surgery. The main thing at this point is to stay hydrated and learn to take all your vitamins. They still fill me up now so I take them separately from meals. And now if I'm not hungry I don't eat, though I do sometimes get signals of low blood sugar. When that happens I find if I try some food it turns out I'm hungry after all!
I once said that WLS is a full time job. I still feel that way. Scheduling and successfully completing our daily intake of food, fluids, and vitamins is not an easy feat.
