I appreciate you Anny!  Hope the Staff Appreciation went well.  You have been through a lot the last few months and it sure seems to me you have faced it with beauty and grace, keep that gorgeous smile on your face.  It can only get better!

I am so very sorry for what you are your friends family is going through.  Life is so precious and we don't realize how quickly our loved ones can leave us. Make sure you let your family know every day how much you love them.  Sending hugs...

I am so proud of myself I grilled a burger and it was not a burnt offering. I cut the time in half and turned the temp down.

Oh Kristin, I'm so sorry for your friend, please know I will add them to my prayers.   45 is just too damn young, but I hear of things like this more and more often lately. 

QOTD:  Favorite comic strips were Family Circle, Kathy & Bloom County.  I used to have a cat named Binkley, he was of course named after Michael Binkley of Bloom County because he was afraid of everything when I first brought him home in 1985.

So last night I ended up having a couple of bites of the roasted potatioes hubby made, then started on the darn popcorn.  Scale was mean to me this morning.

My condolences on the loss of your friend, AV, and to his family. The love and support of friends and family are what get us through these extremely difficult times.

QOTD: Gary Larson's Far Side and the Cathy comics were always my favorites. Larson especially had such a quirky (many say twisted) perspective on life ... Loved his work!

Am continuing with the all-critters menu, despite some poor choices yesterday that brought the day's calories up to 1400. That's weight gain territory for me, so will do better today. (There is no 'try')
