Comics hmmm. My dad used to come home from work with a cut out of Luann everyday. I never understood what the comic meant.
Sorry about your friend A/V. Will keep you in my thoughts as well as his family. Organ donation is such a beautiful thing but painful all the same. What a generous gift.
Yesterday was a long and busy day. Had 3 job interviews. Wanted to bang my head when I got home yesterday and landed right in bed at 3 in the afternoon for a siesta with a headache. Was offered a job so that was successful. Had a bag with food and snacks with me.
What I ate yesterday.
BKFT Turkey Sausage Patties and Egg
Snack Provolone Cheese and Soprassata
Lunch Chicken from Salad Bar with Chickepeas
Snack Almonds
Dinner Chicken Meatballs filled about a tablespoon of black bean pasta
Snack Greek Yogurt

So sorry about your friend AV. I've seen organ donation over and over in my line of work and it's difficult to imagine being in that position. The only good that can come from it is saving someone else. Prayers for your friend and his family.
QOTD: As soon as you said comics, I was thinking of Calvin and Hobbes. I just love that one. I have a book of winter themed ones I had out several years ago and was cracking up over. My kids didn't get it at the time, maybe I need to get them out again. :)
B- 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and pico
L- 1C refried beans with pico, cheese stick and pepperoni stick (I know, this is weird)
D- something out, maybe the innards of chicken tacos, not sure
Totals: under 1000 if I do exactly what is written here, I've been struggling with sticking with what I write down in the morning!
