I just don't think the duration of a marriage is the defining characteristic of its success.  And I wouldn't tell anyone their marriage was a failure because it ended.

I'm still failing to see where I defined the duration of a marriage as a measure of its success.  Or where I told ANYBODY their marriage was a failure because it ended.  I'll wait 

If you want to pick apart my posts, at least make sense or include something relative to what I actually said and not what you wanted me to have said!

Therefore if the marriage is not fine, that is to say it ends, it is not good.

Plenty of people in less-than-perfect, or even less-than-acceptable, marriages are still married. You're assuming that Kim is speaking in absolutes and making leaps that aren't there.
