No joke, for several years that was the first thing I would make myself in the morning. One of the wheat berry type breads with oats on the top toasted with butter and creamy peanut butter. And, that wasn't even breakfast!

Yes buns and bread and I are a no go anymore. If I even try two bites I end up feeling like a cat with a hairball. I used to love a good grilled cheese though before surgery. Especially when served with tomato soup! Sunny but cold in I,lino is today. Lily anD I will do 3.2 miles at the park about 10. I will also do 30 minutes on the bike this afternoon. Today is a day of waiting. Waiting at the food pantry for the special needs class to bring us laundry soap and then waiting for a meat delivery also for the food pantry. Can you see a theme here? Can you tell what takes up my time?! Post op 43 months and weight at 120.2 today. Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli chicken with cheese 1/2 c caprese salad D 31/2 oz baked chicken 1/2 c green beans S Greek yogurt. Have a great day everyone and make some good choices!

AV, I'm sorry its so cold there, it's cold here too.  I'm sure you are colder, but it was 19 degrees when I went to the gym this morning.  I'm on vacation and I really want to get out and walk with my kid, but it's too flipping cold.  We'll be going to the mall today and i'm going to try to find an indoor playspace or something to help him run off some of his energy.

So, I have a picture for you.  I saw this on facebook yesterday and thought of you.  I was complaining about how cold it was when I ran my 5k on Sunday, then I saw this picture of the Syracuse Marathon that was held on Sunday.  Yeah, mine was a cake walk in comparison!

So, just yesterday my hubby and I were talking about sandwiches.  I can't eat bread yet, it just doesn't sit well in my tummy, but I do look forward to the day where I can have the occasional sandwich.  I had BLT lettuce wrap last night and I missed the crunch of the toast that would have surrounded it.  Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it very much, but 1 piece of 45 calorie bread toasted would have really gotten my motor running.  Come on scale, you need to move so I can get to goal and go into maintenance mode!

Food for the day:

8 months since surgery

B: 1 egg, 1 bacon, onions and tomatoes with a slice of velveeta and coffee with fat free half and half and a shot of SF Torani

L: Going to the Outback and plan on getting grilled chicken on the barbie.

D: boneless chicken breast with salsa and fat free mozzarella

S: light and fit and a Quest protein drink in 12oz of almond milk

Totals:

calories 765 protein 109 carbs 38 fat 19

Have a great day everyone!

Dammit, I forgot to show the pic of how I'm related to the Wicked Witch, yesterday! Can't get more famous than her, right?

If someone did not recognize her as the Wicked Witch, I would be forced to block them.
