It truly flys by! And I would say you're lucky to have a surgery date that close. i had to wait 8 months! But it really does go fast and and my only suggestion would be to follow the doc's orders to the T. It makes for a much easier recovery period, trust me.
the healthier you go into surgery, the healthier you come out - that's my motto.
increase your mobility, but do not take risk of injuries. - walking ok, but probably wait on the mt climbing.

I remember when I started the process it seemed like it would never get here fast enough. It does go by fast. One thing I had to do was make sure I started to not drink with meals. That was one of the things I had to work on.
If you find you start to feel down about how long it takes make a list of what you want to do when you are losing the weight. Picture yourself doing it.
Time will go by fast. Trust me.
My nutritionist started me out by making me journal everything I eat, and make sure I get 60 grams of protein a day. It's amazing how much less you will eat if you have to write it down. She didn't tell me not to eat, just to write everything down and make sure to get 60 grams of protein per day. I found I was too embarrassed to eat the same junk and have her read it. I wrote down everything. I figured if I was going through with this surgery, I had to be honest with myself and write down everything. I lost 20 pounds even before my surgery. I found this was an awesome way to get me ready for my new way of eating and living. I found this tool helped me the most.
