What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?

My menu today is up in the air because I have to drive 3 hours to Omaha to see my doctor & Nut and then 3 hours back home.  I am hoping they move me past pureed foods to a more advanced diet.  I'm not sure what comes next.

B:  scrambled egg w/ turkey breastS:  string cheese stick, lightL:  Protein Shake

S:  string cheese stick, light

D:  ?

QOTD:  I LOVE Harry Chapin!!!  My mom isn't "famous", but she is well-known as an author for Guidepost's magazine's Daily Devotional Books and also author of 7 other books.  (Google Marilyn Morgan Helleberg)  Points if you've heard of Guideposts.  She used to get tons of fan mail and she would answer each letter personally even though it took her hours and hours.  The last book she wrote before she died was a poetry book about her life and she let me illustrate it!  Thankfully we got it done shortly before she died.  It was a special project the two of us worked on together.

Yes I know what Guide posts is and have used them as daily devotions in the past. I'm so glad you and your mom got to finish her book before she died. I'm sure that gave you some precious memories!

I know Guideposts.  My mom used to get them all the time.

Thank you, Daisy!  I got advanced to a soft diet now for the next 6 weeks and then I go to a regular diet after that.  YAY!

Famous people... Well my grandpa was mayor of Pittsfield, MA and my brother in law was Judy Garlands cousin. 

Food wise I am going to just be shaking all day and then we are going out for my daughter's 16 th birthday. I think Mongolian bbq but we aren't sure yet. My husband is eating low carb so he is alot more concerned about finding a place he can eat than when it was just me.

Hey are you making your hubby eat the AMAW way, because that would just be cool, and make him wear the Tshirt too! LOL LOL
