Ugh, this weekend was rough. I didn't think I was making too many bad choices but my schedule was off and things were all over the place. Anyway last night I had a horrible experience after dinner, but I can't figure out what caused it? I had shredded lettuce with Taco Meat and cheddar and a little Ranch Dressing. I either just ate too much, ate too close to the previous meal or something but I can't figure out what caused the issue, maybe the Ranch?
QOTD: So somewhere in the cousin chain, not first but somewhere in there is Mary Louise Parker. I haven't met her, but my Mom likes to brag on it. I'm still convinced I need to research this to prove it's true.

Sorry to hear you had such a bad night last night. Sounds like the taco meat and the ranch dressing were just too much. I to this day at 2+ years post op have days where ground beef bothers me.
Stay away from these two things for a while and then try them again in a few weeks or a month. You are still pretty fresh post op, give it some time. Hope you feel better!

You know, I was expecting my post op life to be filled with those types of surprises-- can't say I've had a single experience like so. (knock on wood!!!).
Ya'll please keep that !%^*%$ snow up that way PLEASE! My weekend was good- yesterday was exceptionally relaxing. I used the kids to help with the laundry so it wasn't as much up and down the steps as usual. Hubby & I singed up for weigh****chers-- I can;t tell my tongue will be horribly swollen for the next 13 weeks cause I'm gonna have to keep biting it every time I see him eat/drink something. I so badly want to day "how many points is that" or :did you track that". **Sigh** you can lead them to water-- can't make them drink though.
QOTD- hmmm. most famous relative I can think of is 'aunt' (not my aunt, I think she was my Mom's aunt- or something like that.) She was president of the senate in the Jamaica, West Indies. She died not too long ago- had a sate funeral and everything. here's a link about her: http://www.jamaicaobserver.com/news/Late-Syringa-Marshall-Bu rnett-hailed-as-nation-builder_17794918 Now can you see why my mother wanted me to be a nurse? (like she is and all of my aunts are...its apparently the thing to do in Jamaica!)

Good morning,
We have had crummy weather too, rain, snow, wind. Yuck! Luckily not 10 inches of snow though.
OF course I know who Harry Chapin is! Now I can't get the darn song out of my head, I'll be crying any second now!
QOTD: No famous relatives here, but when I used to work for law firms we had lots of famous clients, mainly authors, but my big claim to fame was I once spoke on the phone with Leslie Nielsen. When I worked at Reebok, we had glimpses of lots of athletes, but the only one I ever spoke to (and it was only a hello as he walked through) was Drew Bledsoe former QB for the Patriots.
Can I just say meat/critter week was fantastic for me. I lost 4.5 lbs in 5 days. Of course I gained back 1 pound this weekend because we tried out a new Italian restaurant in Boston called "CAPO", we just had to! I was good but not perfec, I did have some aroncini and bruschetta. Back to all critter for me today!
