I don't mind paying for it. It's not a million times better with the paid version, or anything, but it's an app I use everyday so I'm happy to give them some of my financial support.

Good luck with the jobs, I hope you do get the one you want.
I mainly use MFP on my computer, I have a work laptop that goes everywhere with me so I use the main site mostly. I only use the MFP app on my iPhone if I want to use the "scan a bar code" function, so I don't really notice the ads at all, sorry. I never get taken to the app store when I input my stuff on my iPhone, that is werid

you are doing great for almost 3 weeks post op Shauna! Glad you are napping and taking care of yourself. Keep at it, don't get discouraged, it does get better and you will get your energy back. Meeting PJP II is pretty amazing!

Good Morning! You guys, please remind me that milk is no longer my friend. I decided to have some Ovaltine on Friday morning before I left for work because I made some for my son and it looked so damn good. Well, you can probably guess what happened about 30 minutes later. Let's just say I needed to make an emergency pit stop at the Wegmans on Onondaga Blvd. I actually called my boss from the bathroom stall to tell her I would not be in that day. HA! Post-op life.
How was everyone's weekend? We got an early season snow event; probably 10 inches of snow fell yesterday. And guess what? It's still. effing. snowing. I had already taken the snows off the cars and put away all the winter gear. It took me like 20 minutes to find my boots yesterday so I could walk the dog, who was not at all happy to go for walkies. He kept looking up at me like I was somehow responsible for his snow covered coat. LOL
QOTD! Do you have a famous relative? Anyone in your family tree? Sadly, I am not related to anyone famous (that I know of), but my Dad played drums with Harry Chapin when he was in college. Extra points to anyone who knows who that is.
Time since surgery: 20+ months
B: Friendship Fit to Go cottage cheese and 6 cinnamon raisin bagel chips
S: nada
L: Ham salad with pork rinds and a cheese stick
D: More ham because goddammit if my husband wants me to bake a ham he's going to eat until it's gone. I think I'll warm mine up in a pan with some sharp cheddar and the guys can eat the leftover gnocchi and carrots.

Have a great day! If anyone tells me it's sunny and warm where you are, I unfriend you!
It is quite nasty out here this am!! Bring back spring.... Damn snow!!
Good morning, all! I have court this morning so I thought I'd post before leaving home. KQOTD- Absolutely no one famous, but I love all your stories. The weather here this weekend was lovely. . . It topped out at 88 yesterday and will be hot thru Thursday, then it may rain. Just in time for my 1/2 marathon on Saturday. Fun! I added carbs back in this weekend and I'm up 1 lb. grrrr. I may have to go back to critter this week (except for the 1/2 which is throwing a wrench in the plans). Also, I have an endoscopy scheduled for Friday which may or may not be another 1/2 marathon wrench.
Here's my plan:
B: turkey, pesto and cheese
L: rib eye (4.1 oz)
D: tri tip
S: light and fit, latte (x2) my favorite independent coffee place is by the courthouse and I finally got my nespresso back from being repaired. So I will continue to tell myself that I'm drinking "coffee" when in reality it's just brown water, but a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.
