Very cool story Karen, how many people can say they are related to someone from the Salem Witch trials, very cool! And you are a very busy retired lady!

Morning! Oh no on the milk, situation! I only add regular milk in tiny amount to coffee, but use almond milk to make my shakes now.
I had a great weekend--got to hang with Grim and saw Deanna's success in her 5k on FB! You guys are all amazing :)
It's still effing snowing in Boston, too. It took me two stupid hours to drive to work this morning. I can only imagine how fun the drive home will be after it actually accumulates...
QOTD: She's not famous, exactly, but the one-room schoolhouse teacher who taught the Wright Brothers is my Great Great Great Aunt. Being an educator, this gives me great pride!

This weekend was my own personal version of hell. Saturday the weather was seriously bipolar, half an hour blizzard followed by half an hour sunshine and WIND. It was so strange. None of the snow stuck but it was just weird. It did this all day and night. Then yesterday it was 65 and beautiful. But could I enjoy it? HELL NO! I had the worst migraine. I assume from the barometric pressure being all over the place. I didn't go outside once. I was confined to the couch and bedroom all day. UGH! Now I need to figure out when I am going to make up my long run from yesterday. But this week is supposed to stay cold and rainy all week. Oh spring in Wisconsin, how I love you...
QOTD: Hmmm... famous relative. Not really, the closet thing I've got is this guy Jeff Glasbrenner. He is my cousin and was a member of the USA paraolympics Basketball team and all around badass. We are all super proud of him Did I mention he does Ironmans and kicks ass?

Oh no feel better Nikki! I too suffer my migraines that are weather related. My hell was last month, a daily headache, I know where you are coming from, I am so sorry. Not much helps me since I am bound to Tylenol. I hope you get some relief! Sorry you didn't get your run in, I hate that feeling, you get all psyched up and then blah, rain or snow or a damn migraine!
So very cool about your cousin. An Olympian, how amazing is that, sure does sound like a badass, wait he climbed Mt Everest, yup that for sure is a badass, tell him congrats from me!
Hope your swim lessons are good tonight!

Before surgery I went in to talk to my headache specialist about what I would be able to use after surgery that wasn't a NSAID. The best thing we have found is Midrin. It's a Rx drug but I find it helps so very much. I could not deal with Tylenol alone. I have other abortives but Midrin is what I use for anything that may develop into a migraine.
I hate chronic daily headache. I am lucky that surgery has helped with migraines. I hope this month is better for you.
Good morning all!
QOTD: no one famous, boo!

??Are the ads in MFP driving anyone else crazy? I feel like I open the app, start inputting calories and then it takes me to the app store 45 TIMES a day. I'm tempted to just pay the $50 for the damned premium, but hate to give in. Anyone else??? (I'm using an iphone if that helps).

I only use the MFP website, and don't get bothered with ads. It's been a long while since I needed to use the app.
