Target is the best! And, unfortunately for me and my bank account, 2 blocks from my house. I could totally walk there, but I always end up buying WAY TOO much crap there to haul home by hand. All the cute stuff in the "dollar section" by the door suckers me in every time.

I tried to eat more yesterday, and did better in the evening than I have in a long time. I fell down a rabbit hole of articles online of malnutrition and vitamin deficiency and it scared the crap out of me.

Today:

B: iMetabolic protein shake

L: grilled chicken

S: fat and sugar free Greek yogurt

D: more grilled chicken

I'm a master griller and it was so lovely yesterday I fired it up for the first time yesterday. I cut the chicken up really small and tolerated it surprisingly well.

I don't really overspend at any store and tend to go in with a list and that's what I come out with. My hubby says I'm a tightwad but actually I'm the payer of the bills and know how little of our fixed income is left at the end of the month. Since there isn't much I am careful not to overspend. We have 3 more months of car payments and I will be so happy when I have that extra 600 dollars! Post op 43 months weight today is 120.4. Exercise will be 3.2 miles at the park,30 minutes on the bike and maybe an after dinner walk. Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese 1/2 c green beans D 31/2 oz baked fish 1/2 c broccoli S Greek yogurt. Have a great day everyone and make some wise choices!

Congrats on ending the car payment, soon! Here is a tip--don't go to Target or you won't be able to find that extra cash!

Morning JB and Weekend menu gang!  JB you had a busy day yesterday with work and running around, so I get the not eating. I have done that before when I am swamped at work and suddenly I realize its 2pm and I only had coffee all day. You got snow?  What the heck? Its sunny here right now, cold but sunny, but they are calling for a big storm tonight, we will see.  Have fun with Grim for lunch!

I am completely totally JEALOUS of you and Target.  As you all know Target left Canada last year, it was an epic fail, not because we Canadian's didn't love Target, but it was managed poorly behind the scenes and long story short they left.  I LOVE Target. Whenever I go ot the US I get my Target fix so I fully appreciate your going in for one thing and coming out with a cart full!  QOTD: hands down its Costco that I can never ever go in and "get one thing".  I think its humanly impossible to not spend under $300 when I go.  Its dangerous LOL  I also really really love greeting card stores, so Hallmark stores, I can spend hours and hours reading greeting cards and come out with 20 - 30 cards for "occasions" just in case I need that card that says "sorry you broke your toe while falling down drunk" LOL LOL LOL

Soooooo excited, BASEBALL SEASON starts here next Friday April 8th!  Toronto Blue Jays is "our team"!  We play Boston Red Sox, hoping for another wicked season this year! Those of you are die hard baseball fans should remember this, the famous Jose Bautista bat flip!!  We are so going to as many games as we can this year!!

Just about to head out and do grocery shopping and want to look at new running shoes.  Then home and will do a 5km run and then after dinner take the dogs for a hike for 5km.

Time since surgery: 2 years + 4.5 months

B: 10 shrimp + ****tail sauce

L: 4oz of grilled chicken breast + 1 tbsp bbq sauce

S: laughing cow cheese and red pepper strips

D: 4oz of grilled chicken breast + 1 tbsp bbq sauce, a few grilled asaragus spears

S: laughing cow cheese and red pepper strips

Totals: calories 947  protein: 134  carbs: 42  fat: 29

V/W: vits done, calcium on alarms, lots of coffee, tea and water with lemon

E: 5km run after errands, and 5km hike with pups

Have a great Sunday everyone!  Oh by the way, where is Spring, its April 3rd Mother Nature!!

Aww Daisy, we can't be BFFs if you are going to root against my Red Sox!!! I love going to games, too--it just feels like summer and it makes me happy.

Enjoy the new shoes :)
