What's on your Sunday Menu, RNYers?
on 4/3/16 3:43 am
Ok, I admit. I had a big old menu fail yesterday. But not for overeating...I literally just didn't eat anything for most of the day. It's weird--all of my internal hunger signs just seemed to turn off and I never got hungry. And since it was a busy day, it was not until I was wandering around Target at 7:30pm, getting dizzy, that I remembered that I need food and water. *facepalm*
But, like a trooper, I soldiered on through the aisles for another hour. Why? Because, I have a deep love affair with Target. Deep. I have no idea how they get me every time, but when I am there I spend 10 times more than I intended to. Which would be fine if I went once a year, but since I usually go once a week, I should probably put myself in check! So, QOTD: Do you have a favorite store where you are guaranteed to spend more money than you intended?
I'm probably the least planned person to be posting a menu, today. Grim and I are planning on lunch out and a walk through a sculpture park, but it is snowing like crazy (they said it would, I just didn't believe them!). So I'm pretty sure we are skipping the walk, and I have no idea what lunch will entail.
B: Protein Coffee
S: Greek yogurt
((...that's all I got!))

Seriously? Snow? I am not, NOT shoveling the driveway. It's Opening Day tomorrow, for crying out loud! Whoever put the snow there can take it away.
Nice artwork! By some strange coincidence, I was also at a Target yesterday. I think it was literally the fourth time, ever, I was in a Target. It's a fine store, but I'm clearly not addicted. And I don't think I have ever bought curtains, anywhere. I'm a blinds guy.
Doesn't Target have a lunch counter type of thingy? You need a keeper JB.
I also didn't eat much yesterday. Some ham and a couple of Quest bars. I was tempted to eat crap but refrained. So far today I finished off my Easter ham, but have no idea what I'll eat the rest of the day.
How's that for a plan!
QOTD - The only place I buy stuff on impulse is Woodcraft. But I'm guessing not many of you guys have been there.

The only opening day game I have ever been to was in Pittsburgh when I was in College. My college roommate's family lived there, went home with her on Spring Break, and her younger brother who was like 12 at the time wanted to go. We sat there watching the game as it was snowing....

Love the pic of your backyard and the snow! But snow? Crazy eh?
Only been to Target four times ever... you are such a guy!! LOL LOL I used to go four times a week when they were here!!!
I am a blinds AND curtains person, gee what does that say about my personality LOL LOL
Ham is finished, so what's next??
Never even heard of Woodcraft, but I am sure as a Master Craftsman it would be like how we ladies feel about Target.

Good morning! We had a big snowfall yesterday too, with plenty more on the way! This does not bode well for the tender green shoots in the garden - or for afternoon walks!
QOTD: HomeSense is my guilty pleasure. When I moved last spring, I sold most of the furniture with the house, so it feels like I've been on a non-stop shopping spree for several months. Now that I have all the major household pieces, I try to limit my visits, and luckily the nearest retail outlet is almost an hour away. :)
Brief update on All Critter Week results - It took 2 days to get rid of water retention from the salty ham, and I'm delighted to say I lost 2.2 lbs. since last Monday morning's weigh-in. I will happily continue All-Critter for the next month (with one day off each week) to keep the hunger pangs at bay and maybe get closer to goal!
Food today:
B: chicken
L: ham
D: pork tenderloin
S1: HB egg; S2: turkey bites
Cal-824, protein-104, fibre-trying Restoralax this week - it appears to be calorie free, so will switch for a few days to see if it works as well as the fiber gummies.

Seriously? Passing out at Target is a thing?! That's horrifying and hilarious all at once. That store is a damn drug. I bought nuts and ate them in the car before I left, which helped.
