Crazy question about pre-op liquid diet

Thanks for the advise.  The trip to Vegas was scheduled months and months ago, my surgery was not.  I'm having serious issues with my stomach, and the surgery is to get me off some nasty medicine, and fix the stomach issues.  I'm not a regular drinker anyway so it's really not a issue either way.  I assumed it would be a no, no since the whole point of the liquid diet is to shrink your liver, but was curious what others were told.  I'll go on the trip, enjoy the shows, the time with my girlfriends, and be ready for my surgery when I get back.  Thanks again for the replies.

I guess that would be for your Dr to answer. I'm sure he would say no though (There no fun, lol). I see where you are going

in tomorrow for a revision. I had my RNY about 10 years ago and maintained very well until about 3 years ago and I've been

yo yoing upward a bit. It's a battle that never ends.
