Kat you have done AMAZING on this AMAW challenge!  I totally look up to you! I am so trilled that this worked for you, yay on the 2 lbs loss!!  There are a few of us that pretty much eat AMAW regularly (aside from the Meat King) so like you I am also going to stick pretty close to it as well, it works on so many levels for me.  I also didn't have a problem in the bathroom area, glad you had that covered.

Now let's talk about this gorgeous young lady in this pic!! WOW I must say I have not seen a picture of you before, just your avatar and that does not due you justice to how tiny and beautiful you are!  And I am jealous, LOVE YOUR BLOUSE!

Not that I need to tell you but keep up the great work, you really help a lot of the newbies and I want to thank you for that!!

Hi Grim, thanks for starting the post!  You and JB look amazing!  JB you are gorgeous!  I agree hard to beat awesome company, a walk and STEAK!

Soooo I have been sick with a stomach bug since Wednesday night.  While I was out at the retirement party after work on Wednesday I started to feel dizzy, light-headed and sick to my stomach.  I got home about 10pm and was really nauseous!  I had a glass of water & a Tylenol and went right to bed. I got up at 5am next day and almost fainted, tried to have a shower and ended up yelling for my husband to help me back to bed I was so sick.  I literally spent all day yesterday in bed, taking chewable Gravol.  I ate nothing yesterday (please don't kick me out of AMAW!)  I came into work today as I have two project due today and I had to be here, but I am going to leave early.  I don't think I will be eating much today, but I made a lunch & a snack in case, I am still sick and ache all over but I am still going strong on AMAW LOL LOL

QOTD:

Thoughts on meat week - personally I loved it.  It wasn't a huge change for me, I just took out veggies & cheese and my protein hot chocolate and replaced those with larger portions of meat.

Have I learned anything new about my diet that is helpful:  Well cutting out veggies & cheese and hot chocolate I lost 2.5 lbs (also didn't eat yesterday due to being sick so it could be that too).  I found that I wanted a "crunch" in my daily menu.  I would often have laughing cow cheese and red pepper strips in the evening and that satisfied my "crunch" I missed that.  But I did find it super easy to follow and would do this again no problem.  I usually eat 3.5 or 4 oz of meat with veggies, I went up to 5oz of chicken and 6oz of turkey and I was full for hours and hours and hours.  I think if I stayed with pure protein at those ounces (5 or 6 all the time) I would only need two meals a day (lunch & dinner) and maybe one snack.  I don't plan on totally abandoning this after today but I might add back in my evening snack as cheese & veggies.

I hope everyone enjoyed this AMAW as much as I did.  Now we get to sit on pins & needles to see who Meat King chooses as his Meat Queen!

I am posting my menu but its up in the air as I need to see if my tummy can take food today. I only have a pic of my lunch and mid day snack for you all.  Its 5oz of grilled chicken breast with 1 tbsp of bbq over it and 4 slices of Genoa salami.

B: coffee with spenda & lactose free milk (barely got this down)

Daisy, I'm so sorry you've been under the weather! Feel better soon.

I agree with you, meat really keeps me satisfied for a long time, and I end up less likely to graze, or want to graze. That's the magic of meat.

Daisy, hope you're back to 100% soon!  I agree with you, the one thing I missed during meat week was crunch.  I don't eat a lot of veggies, but it's nice to have the texture change.  I would likely do meat week again, but a modified version and add in my yogurt on extra heavy exercise days
