I deleted my post, thanks for starting this Grim!  I LOVE the pic of you and J.  You are so tall!  or is it that she is just so short?  Anyway, you both look amazing!

Morning Guys. I will admit defeat. I am a Meat Week drop-out. I just can't do it for that long. Yesterday, with dinner, I had some steamed cauliflower, broccoli and carrots (that frozen California mix). then for my evening snack I had 3/4 a quest bar. As I commented in another post, I am so backed up it's crazy. I have been pretty regular for the last 3 or 4 months, but now I'm just so full of **** it's scary. The reason I only ran 2 miles on Wednesday is because I had discomfort caused by constipation. I will be taking drastic action this evening and tomorrow, since I have my 5k on Sunday and I want to be cleared out.

I was back at the gym this morning. I've decided that I'll be going at least 5 days a week. I skipped yesterday and didn't feel great last night. I was up and at them this morning at 5:30 and I don't feel so much better already.

Plan for the day:

8 months since surgery

B: Quest vanilla milkshake with 12oz almond milk and a boiled egg

L: 2oz baked cod, 2oz steamed veggies (sorry, I just had to)

D: shrimp ****tail

S: fat free mozzarella with 8 turkey pepperoni, light and fit greek yogurt.

totals:

Calories 696 Protein 95 carbs 35 fat 19

this Sunday I'm running my first 5k. I'm excited and nervous and I know I'm going to push myself for a faster time than I've done before. I'll be out tomorrow morning running the whole 3.1 miles to see what I can do. No gym tomorrow because they are closed. I'll post pics and my time next week. I'm mostly fast walking it but I'm hoping to get the whole thing in 45 minutes, maybe even 40. (told you guys I'm not super fast).

I am sorry you are having some tummy issues and had to drop from the challenge and hope you feel better soon. Good luck on your 5k, my daughter and I also have one on Sunday and she hopes to run at least 2 miles but up this point she has only been able to get to a mile so we will see how it goes..I just want her to feel good about it and have fun (even if we decide to walk most of it).

you are going to do great at the 5k. i just want to make it under an hour, that is all I care about.
