MEAT WEEK let down
So I normally weigh myself everyday. For the sake of the MEAT WEEK adventure I weighed in Sunday at 150.4 lb and haven't checked since. I have been moving through the 150's at an absolute snails pace. Was hoping this would shake things up a little to finally hit that 149 !!!!
Well...this morning I was STILL 150.4 !!!!! REALLY BUMMED ABOUT IT TOO!!
Trying to tell myself this experiment isn't truly over until tomorrow mornings weigh in.....as today is still a meat day...... Sigh........
Any suggestions to bust over the hump????

IMO - you did not get enough fat ..or magnesium.. or other stuff that would help you to "go".. I am sure more people are ion the same situation..

If you haven't had a full evacuation in the last couple of days...I would try and take miralax/stool softener both this morning and tonight after dinner. I find 2 doses separated, and the second not being too late...gives it time to work by the morning. I am probably doing this myself today....
I find since WLS I have to stay on top of it - 2 mornings no go have to do something...or sometimes I will go a little for 4-5 days but by fifth day if I haven't as I said 'fully evacuated' I take something to make it happen. The going a little can throw you off because you think 'I'm going' and in the mean time you are getting backed up.
I did the critter version of Meat Week- but I only had my premier protein and a few slices cheese...otherwise all meat. I have lost 5 pounds. Now I was still up 4lbs from a wedding 2 weekends ago...so I think those quick gains also come off quick... SO I would really say I am down a pound, and maybe 2 if I can get the system moving...LOL...
I did find my hunger way down too...

I'd love to be able to say stored poop was the culprit ....I have had troubles with that in the past...and dont allow myself to go more than 2 dsys wirhout going.........but I have been going great this wk.
Guess I have no choice but to bump up the exercise!!! Have a 90 ZUMBA masters class Sat...it's a good start !

I didn't do meat week - learned my lesson years ago on Atkins. Congrats to all of you that could do it :)
