You try to instill the values you hold most dear, but eventually they make their own choices. I blame that rough crowd she's been hanging out with.

As gross as it is... I can't stay away from reduced sugar ketchup. I put it on anything and everything.... Really... I eat app 2 bottles of that a week.

6 months ago I could not get enough yellow mustard... I ate that with EVERYTHING. Even raw veggies. (if I ate them). I used to carry a big bottle of that in my purse... Because in restaurants they never could give me enough...

I think I am missing some minerals ...and my body is compensating.

I know I am not prego...but I sure have cravings worse than my friend who is...

I think I am kinda sensitive about using high fat flavoring since seeing my husband's issues with heart issues.  Need to get over that road block

A crock pot or pressure cooker is your best friend! Throw in your meat, a bit of broth, and some seasoning and let that puppy do its thing. I just buy the pre-mixed spice blends-- I like "Montreal steak" on beef, and cajun with chicken.

Check the sauce isle at the grocery store for marinades, too. Lawry's makes some good ones, the lime mesquite is really good on pork and I use the garlic-herb on just about everything. Let it soak for half an hour before you put it in the skillet and it helps a lot.

This weekend I'm making chicken and home made salsa(none of that jarred stuff with loads of salt and preservatives). You just load the crock pot about 1/2 full, stick the chicken breast and turn it on. Once the chicken hits 160 degrees it's done! You just pull the chicken out, shred it up then throw it back in.
