Spiral ham I need to eat hot -- reheated in the microwave. Deli ham has to be cold. I'm not sure why, but to me they are entirely different foods.

I never use mustard, mayo, ketchup, relish -- nothing. Yuck. I'll put a dab of butter on something once in a while if it's too dry when I reheat it. I put salt on beef, but never ham. Cheese on burgers. But other than that, I never put stuff on anything. Nothing. Never.

Naked is the way to go.

Good Morning!

I would have been terrified to pierce ears! That's probably why I never became a nurse or anything like that...

My first job was working at a doctors office doing filing and a bunch of other pretty boring stuff. As I got older I took on more responsibilities and worked there on breaks in collage, and while I was in law school and grad school. I then went on to manage my own practice for a health system, and now I'm a Regional Administrator for a different health system. I have only ever worked in healthcare, I must be a little crazy :)

What a fantastic career progression!  Good for you!  I work for a hospital in the patient financial services area right now.  I've been here for 4 years.  Prior to that I worked for a health insurance company for 13 years.  So, I've pretty much been in healthcare for a while, too.  HA!

Some days I want to run for it and try something outside of health care, and some days I couldn't imagine doing anything else!

I imagine working in patient financial services can be interesting...some people are SO nice, and some people are SO nasty, especially about healthcare bills...

Scale is giving me fits again. Why is it so frustrating... Means I'm not making my goal for this month and that makes me sad :( But I will look at the fact that I crossed off many of my other goals on the list.

My first JOB was a eckerd drugstore, I was a cashier and 15 years old. My family would drop me off to work. I brought home boat loads of SUPER cheap beauty items but other than that socked all my money away. After that I got to work at a used jean/clothing store and that was so much fun. The owner was so great. Learned so much there about shopping for others and became quite the salesperson. She said I was her best ever. :) what can I say I love clothes!

Good morning!  I have been doing well on AMAW but it may end today.  As much as I am full, I don't have energy either.  I mean I am fine for regular life but last night's run was a nightmare.  I just didn't have the stamina.  I have to swim 1.2 miles straight in the pool tonight and I will need some carbs beforehand so I think I'll incorporate some veggies or a bit of cheese into my lunch.

BTW, AV, YOUR SON ROCKS!!  My daughter loves the pool too but there is no way she could swim for 1 1/2 hours straight.  I think you have an Ironman in your future

QOTD: I was a "gift girl" at Noah's Ark Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells (Wisconsin's Tourist Trap).  I was too young to be a lifeguard so I got stuck in the gift shops.  It was a crappy job but I made a lot of great friends.

Time since surgery: 20+ months

B: Coffee with cream

S: SF Latte (FREE)
