What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
You know-- I have NEVER eaten a McDonald's chicken nugget. The look of them turned me off completely- nothing about them ever appealed to me. I've never even had a crispy chicken sandwich from McD's. Something about their fried chicken products just turns me off.
I stuck to the burgers or grilled chicken :-)
I never worked there though!

Well, you've not missed out on anything. Well, except maybe an additional 50 to 70 lbs...

Count me in as also working at McDonalds... thank goodness only for a month, and then was hired on at the Lego factory in Conn. I lasted one day on the lego assembly line before they moved me to the big blocks.. lol

Nuggets were never my thing...but a quarter pounder and fries? oh yay. I gained 70lbs junior year after I got my license...lots of extra meals going through the drive through and then still had to eat something when I got home, so no one would 'know'....

OMG, I loved those too -- and driving did the same thing for me.
Thing is, nuggets were easy to steal and pop in your mouth while you're working. Quarter pounders -- not so much.
Shameful confession: I would often take quarter pounders and filet-o-fish that we tossed for sitting too long -- out of the trash and eat them.

QOTD: I did the babysitting, paper carrier, lawn mower, driveway shoveler stuff. At 16 I went to work at a restaurant for 2 years, washing dishes, doing anything they wanted. At 18 I went to work at UPS and stayed for 22 years. As soon as they left my soul unguarded I grabbed it and ran for the hills.

You know I love you Grim, but it seriously makes me want to throat punch you that you can eat so much at a sitting and still maintain your weight loss.

I have no idea why I can eat as much as I do. Probably a combination of the high fat diet and dumb luck.
But every day I wonder if I'll need to make a big change, and try to keep my head ready to do it if I need to.
