My surgeon's office always recommends the plastic surgeon's at their hospital. But the hospital is further away from my house, AND I won't be able to finance with them. So that is a no go. But I will ask them what they know about this other surgeon. He says on his website that he talks at the post op support groups at MY surgeon's office, so they must know him and think he is reputable.
My surgeon has plastic surgeons who are affiliated with his practice. We haven't discussed it, given my other issues but I have an appointment tomorrow and may bring it up. I joked about it at my last appointment when the conversion issue came up. I told him he was digging into my plastics fund to solve my health problems lol. He bills everything through the hospital and they let me pay everything out without interest accruing, so I may have to check it out.
Sorry your daughter didn't make the team :( mine started try-outs yesterday but since she's in 6th grade I am not sure if anyone doesn't "make the team" it is just whether or not they get play time (which she got very little in basketball). Hope she finds something else fun to do.
Exciting..plastics?!?!? can't wait to hear how it goes.

I was breakfast swing shift manager at McDs the summer that I turned 16! I was a super responsible kid and all, but...that was a lot of responsibility!!

QOTD: My first "real" job was at McDonald's in high school. I worked a lot of hours -- and often ran the drive-thru. Even then, my food addiction was in high gear. I often ate an entire 20 piece nugget on my break. I mean, six nuggets?? --- That was barely a snack! Additionally, I stole so many nuggets out of the warming bin drawer, that we often were short when orders came through... and of course, I had to eat them in pairs so the count wouldn't be off. Oh, memories. Hard to imagine how I gained 70 lbs my senior year...
AMAW is going well -- I feel great. I did end up eating steak last night instead of shrimp.

I remember reading an article a while back that something like 1 out of every 10 people in the US has worked at McDonalds. We are above average so far with you and Melissa!
Also? Back in the day I could eat so many McNuggets. So many.

I wonder what the stat is for obese people?
