What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
My daughter didn't make the school softball team, she was told that too many upper classman made it to let a 7th grader on. GGGRRR She is SO UPSET, and now she won't be playing anything this Spring. WICKED BUMMED OUT. But we did sign our 4 year old up for t-ball, so THAT is always a fun time!
QOTD: My first REAL job was McDonalds. A few friends worked there, and my Dad got me an application when I turned 15 1/2 and said, here get a JOB! haha I worked there for 2 1/2 years or so, worked my way up to youngest shift manager (without any more pay...oh man). I worked WAY TOO MUCH for a high schooler! Yikes
I found a plastic surgeon in my "area" that does massive weight loss plastics often. I am going to ask my surgeon's office on the 6th if they know of him. I think I am going to make a consultation. My hubby is even ok with this idea. The surgeon will do financing, that is the only reason I would be able to have plastics! eeeek

Side note: my aunt, who is only 6 years older than me so I've always considered her my sister from another mister, worked at McDonalds for her first job, too. I just remember her smelling like French fries for like 2 years. LOL
ETA: I'm so sad for your daughter that she didn't make the softball team. Boo! Can she try out for any local LL or travel teams? I don't want her to not play at all!
I am not even at goal yet, but we will see what the consultation brings. Who knows.
I swear I could never get that "old oil" smell out of my hair from McDonalds!! LOL
She aged out of the baseball little league last year There may be a local Babe Ruth softball team for older kids, but I am pretty sure we missed registration.
Try to register for Babe Ruth! I know in our area, they accept late registrations until way into the season!
fingers crossed! We have a cut-off here, too, but they still let people register until like 3 weeks into the season.
