AMAW-critter is going well for me overall, and after just 2 days I am quickly back down to my lowest weight after surgery. I have been going up and down in a 4-5 pound range for a couple of months. I am really really encouraged that this relatively easy adjustment is getting things moving for me again.
First jobs: In high school, I had summer work cleaning the dorms at the nearby university between summer conferences. First full-time job after college was as a technical writer at a computer company.
Things are so busy here, always too busy. And grumpy lately. Grumpy husband, grumpy kids. Too much runaround this morning before school, too much anger and blaming and teasing being thrown around. Also, too much pushback on next week's spring break vacation plans. A simple vacation to a beautiful location just a few hours from here-sorry gang! People from all over the world spend zillions to come look at these places in our back yard. And that is where we are going.
B, L, D, and S: Grumpy Soup as the condiment every single time
B: Ricotta bake
L: Chicken thigh in pear chutney
S: Shrimp in ****tail sauce; parmesan cheese
D: Not sure--probably getting a speedy bite out, probably in the car, with husband on way to visit a friend in a hospital that is not close to home--will have to find something meat. I am thinking those grilled chicken nuggets from Chick Fil-A. There. Now I have a plan!

le cluck, you mean?
There is not actually one closer than 20 minutes to us. But there IS one by that hospital.
We are actually close to about nothing. There has been a little strip mall going in near our local tiny-version WalMart and the high school--about 7 minutes away. My younger boys have been uber excited, sure one of the places was a Chick Fil-A. They were sure! They had us all convinced. Then the sign went up. Dollar store. At least the food there is cheap! (But better would be food that used to cheep, like clucks.)
They just opened the first one on Long Island about 5 minutes from my house...I have not gone. I thought about it one day, but it was packed. I don't wait for fast food...LOL
