What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
I am all critter at work as well; turkey and string cheese rollups for the win! It's very satisfying, amirite?
Good morning, everyone! I'm so excited . . . it's the best time of year in Los Angeles . . . hockey is headed into the Stanley Cup playoffs (Go Kings Go) and Baseball season is officially here . . . tonight is the start of the Freeway Series . . . Go Dodgers! Happy times.
KQOTD - I worked retail at Macys. I worked in the fine jewelry department and it usually was a pretty easy going job. My favorite time to work was the holidays . . . especially the closer it got to Christmas. You truly could sell anything. Particularly to men . . . on Christmas eve! So much fun to exploit the panic (just kidding.) The downside is we were robbed twice when I was there. Two times people came in and smashed the glass case where the diamond engagement rings were. That kinda sucked.
and AV - Cheers to your son! Good job!!!
Here's my plan: I continue to be on team meat, but will continue to reserve my right to switch to critter should the need arise
B: Ground turkey and pesto, Skinny vanilla latte
L: either the ham I didn't eat yesterday or a chicken breast from Pollo Loco
D: New York Strip steak
S: up in the air . . . ham if I don't have it at lunch
E: Circuit class before work and I'm supposed to run. I have a half marathon next weekend.
Totals: Cal.: 920; Protein: 118g; Fat: 35g; Carbs 23g (gah, I miss the single digit from Monday . . . it's definitely the latte.)
Ooooh, if I worked at Macy's I would seriously be abusing any employee discount they offered.
Loved the Tinkerbell. Did that one 2.5 months after surgery last year. Not sure if you have tried the Diva's half but they are fun and the bling is always cute.

Sad for me . . . I just looked at my Starbucks cup and realized they didn't give me decaf . . . because of my acid issues, I'm supposed to lay off the caffeine . . . I usually just try to pretend that I'm drinking fully loaded coffee. Quite the dilemma . . . do I drink it and potentially suffer later or waste a beautiful cup of coffee . . .
Really, there's no question what I'm going to do . . .If you find me later rolling on the floor because of the reflux pain, please call my surgeon and tell him I am an idiot and a coffee junkie . . .
