My first real job was at Burger King, then I did the Camp Counselor thing, though Babysitting was still my most lucrative teenage job. I was a lifeguard in College, then started out after school as an Admin and now I'm an Operations Analyst, who loves her spreadsheets too much most of the time.

Time since surgery:  3.5 months

B:  Double Scoop Unjury Shake

S:  Virginia Ham

L:  Leftover Pork Chop with a little shake n bake, but most of my pieces are inside pieces

D:  Rotisserie Chicken maybe a few green beans

S: Unjury Shake ( I have been doing a terrible job of getting this last shake of the day in, I don't know if it's the time of day or because I haven't been exercising and have been a little sick that I just haven't needed it, we will see, scale is still moving albeit slow due to my least favorite part of being a woman visiting, but still moving)

My first job was at Claires piercing ears!! I have you beat by 8 piercings a side!! I still have the stupid scars too. Bugged me when parents brought in tiny babies and little girls who were scared to have their ears done. Was a pretty cool job.

Yesterday I ate....

Breakfast Egg salad(2 eggs lite mayo and bacon bits)

Lunch Turkey/Ham Cheese Roll ups

Snack Fage Greek Yogurt

Dinner Strip Steak

Snack Watermelon with Salt on it

Thank you Mr Grim because every time I think of mushrooms or veggies I remember your posts......That what you eat does things on those veggies.... I can just picture it OMG ROTFL!!!

HA!  Twinsies!  Yeah, the babies were the worst.  But I have to say, I got pretty good at it and it was over before they even knew it!

Some one asked what a peppermint shake was or something early in the thread. Here is a url to Egg face site where there are some recipe suggestions for shakes.....

I might try one for lunch today.

Good morning! My first full time job out of school was working as a gofer in the newspaper advertising department of a huge department store in downtown Vancouver. I ran all over the 8-storey building posting ad tearsheets, picking up and delivering items to the photo studio, digging out and filing photos and drawings for newspaper ads, etc. The work was boring and most of the staff were grumpy and unhappy, so it wasn't the most positive introduction to the world of work.

I'm finding All Critters easy to follow, and although my stomach is much noisier than usual, there's no discomfort or stomach upset. It's a snap to stay under 900 calories, and carbs are very low. Sodium is MUCH higher than usual - it's the ham - but is still within daily limits. The actual hunger that leads to night eating is gone, and so far I am able to curb the urge to graze. I miss bananas and frozen berries.

Food for today:

B: ham

L: chicken

D: roast beef

S1: HB egg; S2: yogurt or turkey bites

Maybe not the most positive introduction, but likely the most appropriate one.  Welcome to the real world, right?

Happy Birthday Lily!  If I could figure out how to insert a picture, I would post one of my dog Holly.

I am loving meat and critter week, although it makes it much more difficult to find a place to just pop in for a meal.  My kids are on spring break so yesterday was spent at the zoo and and Jungle Jim's which is an International Food market.  I did mess up yesterday at Starbucks.  I always get a skinny vanilla latte with soy milk.  I can't drink regular milk.  I didn't realize until afterwards that soy milk is SOY--a plant.  I'm so bummed!  Please don't hold it against me!

Yesterday

B:  Bacon & cheese stick

S:  Venti Skinny Vanilla Latte w/soy

L: 2 bites of a hamburger slider--meat and cheese only

D: City BBQ pulled pork and brisket

S: Yoplait whips 100 calorie tub

My calories were just over 1000, but my protein was around 90-100!!!  Wowzer!

My first job after babysitting was for a catering company.  I helped to serve the food and got a great meal in return.  Plus they paid me under the table.  I was probably 15 or 16.  Next, I was a shampoo girl while I was in Cosmetology school.  Other jobs that I've held have all been secretarial.  Now I am a professional volunteer.  I'm currently the President of the Officers' Spouses' Club.  We work to raise money for our military community.  It's very rewarding, but a LOT of work!
